Coaches with full wheelchair access
We have invested nearly £3 million in brand new, wheelchair accessible coaches. The majority of our fleet is now wheelchair accessible.

The wheelchair lift allows easy access for a wheelchair user and attendant.
Powered chairlift
A hydraulic chairlift platform lifts the passenger, in their wheelchair and with an attendant, up to a large door in the side of the coach at floor level for easy access.
There is space for one passenger seated in their wheelchair for the duration of the journey. Please check with us before booking to ensure that your wheelchair is compatible with the restraining mechanisms fitted to our coaches.
In addition, passengers with wheelchairs who are able to transfer to conventional coach seats once they have entered the coach via the chairlift can also be accommodated. Once in their seats, their wheelchairs will be folded and stored in the coach's main luggage compartment. Several passengers with wheelchairs can be accommodated in this way.
How it works
The slideshow below shows how the chairlift system works.
Call us for full details
As space for passengers with wheelchairs is limited it is essential that we are informed about the wheelchair passengers' details and their wheelchair specifications at the time of booking. We generally need 48 hours notice to prepare the coach, as one row of seats has to be removed to make space for a wheelchair.
In addition, there may be some types of wheelchairs that we are unable to transport, so please contact us on 01474 322002 to discuss this before booking.
